American Board of Plastic Surgery MOC program
In addition to completing years of schooling, fulfilling residency requirements and passing the exams required to practice medicine in Illinois, Dr. Ghaderi participates in the American Board of Plastic Surgery Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. This is an ongoing process of continuing education to keep current with the latest advances in medical science and technology in plastic surgery as well as best practices in patient safety, quality healthcare and creating a responsive patient-focused environment.
MOC is an extensive process that involves completing accredited education and specialty training as well as periodic oral and written exams to demonstrate competency. It is the only recertification program recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Reconstructive Care and Community Involvement
Apart from Dr. Ghaderi’s schedule with surgeries and family, he finds time to give back to the patients that make St. Charles Plastic Surgery unique. Not only does Dr. Ghaderi perform cosmetic surgeries of the face and body, but he also continues to be involved in reconstructive breast surgery after mastectomy.
Dr. Ghaderi is an active participant at the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, Illinois. LivingWell provides awareness and support for cancer patients through their many programs. He has lectured at LivingWell Cancer Resource Center to inform and assist patients with their questions regarding reconstructive surgery after mastectomy. Dr. Ghaderi is proud to support this valuable local resource.
