- Do you have hospital privileges to perform this procedure? If so, at which hospitals?
- Is the office-based surgical facility accredited by a nationally- or state-recognized accrediting agency?
- How do I get ahold of you after surgery if I need something? Can I reach you directly?
Most plastic surgeons’ websites, including this one, contain lists of frequently asked questions. Print out a copy and supplement it with questions of your own. The most important thing is to make sure all your questions are answered prior to surgery so that the surgery and recovery process go as smoothly as possible.
