“It was not as painful as I thought it would be. I am glad I decided to have the surgery and I am very happy with the results.”

Tubular breasts are usually not round, but narrower from top to bottom with tight skin, especially below the nipple. This 20-year-old female presented with concerns about the shape and lack of fullness of her breasts. Correction for this patient involved making internal incisions to release the tight breast tissue, making a larger space for an implant, rounding out the lower breast crease and correcting enlarged areolae. The patient had a breast lift and breast augmentation, which improved the shape and symmetry of her breasts and provided her with the fullness she desired.

These photos were taken 4 months after surgery. There is a slow development of the eventual round breast look. This is because the lower breast has to expand and stretch, both from the internal relaxation incisions, and the pressure of the implant. The patient will continue to see improvement over time.
