This case features a patient who underwent breast reduction surgery 5 years ago. Her photos show an example of the healing progression of the surgical scar resulting from breast reduction surgery. The patient was 21 years old at the time of her surgery. She had experienced back and neck pain since puberty as well as shoulder grooving. The patient’s height is 5’3″. Before the procedure, the patient weighed 155lbs. The patient had a preoperative bra size of 36DD. 505 cc’s were removed from the right breast and 510 cc’s were removed from the left breast, giving the patient a 38C postoperative bra size. The first set of after photos for this patient were taken approximately 1 year after surgery. The final set of after photos were taken approximately 5 years after surgery.
