Approximately 22 years ago, this patient had silicone breast implants placed by another surgeon. She came to see Dr. Ghaderi after having noticed firmness to both breasts. Dr. Ghaderi confirmed after evaluation and review of her mammogram that she had bilateral capsular contracture and probable bilateral ruptured implants. The patient proceeded with bilateral implant replacement. She is 60 years old. The patient’s height is 5’4″. Before the procedure, the patient weighed 140lbs. With implants, the patient had a preoperative bra size of 36C. 300 cc, round, textured surfaced, silicone implants were used, returning the patient to her 36C bra size. The implants were placed under the chest muscle. The after photos for this patient were taken 6 weeks after surgery.
